Acne Risk Technology

How to determine the
likelihood of getting acne?

USP Solutions’ Acne Risk Technology appeals to your consumer’s senses within seconds – enabling them to touch and feel your brand, thus determining the acne risk level. Your brand activation will immediately become one of a kind and will help your brand to stand out.

How does it work?  The body produces sebum, which is an oily substance that lubricates skin and hair by traveling up hair follicles onto the skin surface. Acne occurs when the body produces an excess amount of sebum and dead skin cells, which build up in the hair follicle and plug the pore.

Acne Risk Technology detects the amount of sebum on the skin, which reacts to the test strips by displaying dark spots. By comparing their strips with the reference fields, consumers can determine their chance of developing acne.
