About the project
Yanbal Peru was challenged with how to help its consumers match the foundation to their own skin. Although digital was a good option they realised that one cannot beat on-skin matching. With the situation of restricted interaction, they needed a tool that consumers could use themselves even in the comfort of their own homes.
A haptic tool that was cheaper than sampling and avoided the abuse and mess, while different colour pallets, luminosity, and coverage bundle’s could be tested by the consumer at a reasonable cost.
USP Solutions designed and developed a branded colour-matching tool that could be used omnichannel. A tool where the consumer can find their perfect shade by using the tester on their own skin while going on a digital journey with a QR code, and that takes them from trial to purchase both POS and online.
