About the project

The Nuxe brand team faced the challenge of illustrating the efficacy of their multipurpose dry oil in hydrating the skin, while simultaneously personalizing the experience for each consumer.

The team aimed to accentuate the benefits of its multipurpose dry oil for face, body, and hair. The brand’s team in Spain wanted to interact at POS with consumers in a compelling way, to emphasize the oil’s exceptional hydrating properties.

Their goal was to engage consumers and highlight the product’s necessity by giving a simple and reliable instrument for assessing skin dryness levels. The goal was to match consumers with the best product version based on their specific skin hydration requirements.

Through the development of an interactive and personalized skin hydration assessment tool, USP helped Nuxe effectively engaged consumers to showcase the benefits of their multipurpose dry oil. The initiative not only boosted product sales but also established the brand as a leader in skincare expertise and consumer-focused solutions.

About the project

The Nuxe team wanted to provide to their consumer not only a powerful and easy way to engage but to understand their skin better that would also stimulate the purchase intent in seconds. At the same time as building a platform to help the consumer to take ownership of their skin health with three core challenges in the project:

1) Diagnose with a physical tool that must be very easy to use, engaging for the consumer, providing precise results, and letting the consumer understand the readings.

2) Be able to retrieve information that can provide the perfect product recommendation and track the changes of the consumer’s skin periodically.

3) To transform an expensive dermatologists’ tool into a consumer-facing solution.

USP’s developed for the team a multi-tester that did a complete diagnosis of the consumer’s skin using the Skin Type Tester, Pore Indicator, Hydration, and 2D Wrinkle Test technologies. The strips deliver a dimensional visualization of the skin’s surface structure and condition within seconds when used simultaneously.
