The ÖGK Team needed a tool that showed how much solar radiation is reaching us from the sun and how careful we need to be. An easy to use card, that can be kept with them in their wallets to measure the UV rays at any given point while out-of-doors.

USP developed a high-quality UV intensity test card that reacted with a color change when exposed to UV radiation within seconds. The more extreme the color change, the higher the UV intensity level. As the UV indicator was reversible; multiple uses were possible.
